Bucs Select Vita Vea With The 12th Pick

In short, this 347lb DT from Washington is an athletic freak.

During his time in the Pac-12, he amassed 9.5 sacks and 99 tackles. He was also named the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year in 2017.

When you add him to a defensive line that features McCoy, JPP, and Curry it could be a lethal combination. Which hopefully would put less pressure on our DB unit.

Will the addition of Vea be the missing link to finally re-ignite the Bucs pass-rush? It looks promising, but ultimately time will tell.

Until then, welcome to the Bay Vita Vea!
