Unsolved Uber Mystery-Still no word on the alleged Jameis incident.

Questions still loom over Jameis stemming from the alleged groping incident that occurred in March 2016, in Arizona,  involving a female Uber driver. An incident that was not publicized until November 2017, even though the driver reported it right away and Winston’s Uber account was cancelled as a result. Jameis has denied the claims, stating that he was not the only passenger in the car, and he believes the driver was mistaken. Jameis has been cooperative in the investigation.

Unfortunately, there really haven’t been any updates since April of 2018 when Jameis stated he had not yet been interviewed by the NFL. Winston and the team are reportedly frustrated with the process, considering it doesn’t look like this will be resolved by the start of the 2018 season, according to Rick Stroud, of Tampa Bay Times.

As of now the investigation is still well underway, and if the allegations are proven to be true and Winston is found guilty, he will most likely be suspended.

With the lack of new information, it leaves everyone to speculate on what the hold up is, some wonder if there’s enough evidence to charge Winston at all, or maybe there’s much more to the allegations that they are having to investigate? We will just have to wait and see, and will keep you all updated as new information comes available.
