The Buccaneers Sign 9 to The Practice Squad

The Bucs waived some players that had fans in a funk, but now fans can be at ease as the Bucs signed some of them back to the practice squad.

Bobo Wilson is easily the biggest name and the most fan-favored on the list to be signed back to the practice squad.

In addition to Wilson being re-signed to the practice squad, is CB Javien Elliot, aka the Walk On King.

S Godwin Igwebuike carries a name that many long-time Bucs fans know, and he will get another shot with the team as he has been signed to the practice squad, as well.

Continuing in their building of running back depth, the Buccaneers also sign RB Dare Ogunbowale.

OL Cole Boozer finds himself on the practice squad and with the injury bug nailing the offensive line and the lackluster performances of Alex Cappa, this move makes perfect sense.

Both DE’s Demone Harris and Pat O’Connor also find themselves signed to the practice squad.

TE Tanner Hudson made his way to the practice squad and with our teams outstanding level of skill at the position, I don’t believe, barring injuries, Hudson will find himself activated to the roster any time soon.

And lastly, LB Eric Nzeocha was added to the practice squad. Nzeocha, from Germany, was selected by Tampa as part of the International Player Pathway program and had performed well enough that the Bucs want to keep him around. Eric’s brother Mark, was signed in the 7th-round by the Cowboys during the 2015 NFL Draft. He played in 7  games for the Cowboys, (2015-2016), before being injured and signed by the 49ers off of the Cowboys practice squad in 2017. He played in 10 games for the 9’ers last year.
