Bucs Waive Channing Ward W/ Injury Settlement.

The Bucs have officially waived Channing Ward from the Non-football injury list, (NFI), with an injury settlement.

He ended up on the list after sustaining an injury to his kneecap, (Torn Patellar Tendon), while working out in Mississippi over the offseason.

Ward was signed by the Bucs as an undrafted free agent, in 2016, to a $1.62 million contract. Ward made the 53 man roster in 2016 but was waived several months later.

Channing Ward has only played in 6 NFL games, (5 in 2016 and 1 in 2017), recording 1 tackle, but had been helpful in stopping the run during in the win at Carolina in 2016. The Bucs were 9-7 that season.
