Jameis Winston has returned, yet the Bucs have not come out and officially said who their starter will be. By all accounts, Fitz has played well and looks like the guy moving forward, however, Winston took advantage of his three-week suspension and worked tirelessly on improving his game.
The Buccaneers know who the starter will be, but the fact that it has not been officially stated plays to the Buccaneers advantage against a tough Chicago Bears’ defense. They can try to prep for both QBs, however, that rarely works out in a team’s favor.
Dirk Koetter said that the team already knows who will be at the helm this week, and are all in agreement with the decision. Whom will it be? We don’t know just yet.
One thing we all need to agree on is that Fitzpatrick has played very well and should retain the starting role unless Jameis Winston is lights out during practice this week.
