With just under 72,000 passsing yards, Saints QB Drew Brees is now the current NFL leader in all-time passing yards after at 62 yard touchdown pass to Tre’Quan Smith on Monday Night Football. Surpassing the previous leader, Peyton Manning. The ball afterwords was put in Brees’ hands before being handed off to the Hall of Fame president so it can be enshrined in Canton.
Despite my strong disdain for everything about the Saints, I (as do all of us Bucs fans) have to take a moment to tip our hats for such a remarkable achievement. Congratulations Drew Brees, but be prepared for the Bucs to keep you in check when you come to Tampa Bay in December.
