In a press conference today, OC Todd Monken, said that QB Jameis Winston has looked sharp this week and didn’t really show signs that he missed the amount of time he did.
He has also said that he believes that Winston can replicate the same performance backup QB Ryan Fitzpatrick put on earlier this season. And pointed to his progress late last season (and this off season) as an example of why he has no worries about that.
Winston has had trouble in the past with the deep ball though. With his lack of connection with deep threat WR DeSean Jackson highlighting that issue.
We will get our first take though of whether that theory is correct in Atlanta vs their leaky pass defense.
