In a response to a radio interview today on 620AM where a fan asked how JPP felt after Gerald McCoy and Kwon Alexander were seeing dancing while being 8 points down… He was sharp saying,
“I’m sorry you had to see that. We as players have to do a better job checking ourselves.“
That is some strong criticism coming from Pierre-Paul, and he’s right. That’s leadership folks. Holding people accountable and leading by example when it matters most. It’s this unchecked frame of mind can lend itself to failure. In this case is a prime example. This team must be more focused. More disciplined.
To echo JPP’s setiments, let’s win a game defensively, and then bring on the partying.
