Giants owner John Mara threw some serious shade at Odell Beckham Jr. today at the owners meetings. ESPN’s Dan Graziano reports Mara saying,
“I wish he would create the headlines by his play on the field as opposed to what he says and what he does off the field. I think he needs to do a little more playing and a little less talking.”
That ladies and gentlemen is a burn coming from the last place you want to hear it from if you are Odell Beckham Jr.
Many fans have often debated on whether they would rather have OBJ or Mike Evans our original pick. Time is the ultimate test, and I think that it proved that Evans was the right pick. Evans is talented, elite even, produces on the field weekly, and provided almost no drama. While OBJ has more notoriety in a bigger market, has caused the Giants plenty of headaches. Good job to scouting team for getting this one right.
