The trade deadline is around the corner and WR DeSean Jackson wants out of Tampa. Per NFL’s Ian Rapoport, Jackson has requested that he be traded so he may find a team that can better utilize his talents.
What is Tampa to do?
They invested quite a bit of money in Jackson, at 3-years $33.5 million. He is due $11M this season and $10M the following, before becoming a free agent in 2020.
Jackson started off the season with a bang, but since Winston’s return, he has not been as explosive.
Despite the team not being interested in trading Jackson, it will be interesting to watch and see what happens. One thing is obvious, though, and that is that the veteran receiver is not happy being here.
If the Bucs were to trade DeSean Jackson, who would be the most likely trade partner? Eagles as stated earlier this week? Cardinals?
