This Sunday, the Buccaneers play the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium in a matchup of underwhelming, disappointing teams.

The Giants are coming off an impressive win against the San Francisco 49ers, where Eli Manning played well and passed for 3 touchdowns. Look for the veteran quarterback to have a similar performance against a horrific Tampa Bay defense which currently allows an average of more than 32 points per game.

If the Buccaneers miraculously find a way to contain New York’s new super weapon Saquon Barkley, they do have a chance to win this game. However, with Kwon Alexander on IR and Lavonte David out, expect Barkley to run all over the Bucs for at least 150 all purpose yards.

Ryan Fitzpatrick will be the starting quarterback for the Bucs, once again, even after failing to impress for three consecutive weeks. He will finish the game with two passing touchdowns and one turnover against New York’s mediocre defense which is curently ranked 23rd against the run and 18th against the pass. However, this will not be enough to be victorious. The running game will be non-existant, as usual.

On a positive note, the Bucs defense will finally collect its first turnover since week 3. As hard as this seems to believe, this will only be the second created turnover on the season. Jason Pierre-Paul should have an emotional game, playing at MetLife for the first time since getting traded away from the Giants. He will have two sacks in the game.

Conclusively, the Bucs will play hard… again. Yet, it will not be enough… again. The Bucs lose to the Giants which puts them into an even deeper hole.

Final score: 28-17 Giants!
