NFL: Fantasy Football Playoffs Week 14 Start ‘Em ‘n’ Sit ‘Em

0

Week fourteen of the NFL and fantasy season is here. It is playoff time. If you need one game, this is that game. We are here to get you ready for the playoffs.

Here are your week fourteen starts ‘n’ sits.

STARTS

QB

Baker Mayfield – Cleveland Browns

Mayfield was awful in week 13. However, week 14 lends a better matchup to the young QB. The Carolina Panthers have given up 14 TD passes when they go on the road. Play Mayfield with confidence.

RB

Mark Ingram – New Orleans Saints

Ingram is a tough play given the Saints have Alvin Kamara. Nonetheless, play the handcuff this week. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are averaging 28 FPPG to opposing RBs.

WR

Larry Fitzgerald – Arizona Cardinals

Fitz has had a tough season. That goes for the entire Cardinals’ offense. It should get better this week against a Detroit Lions defense that gives up 9 TDs and the 6th highest fantasy points to slot receivers.

TE

David Njoku – Cleveland Browns

Njoku has been all over the board this season. However, that board is high this week against the Panthers. TEs average 17 FPPG against their defense.

K

Mike Badgley – Los Angeles Chargers

Badgley kicked the game-winning field goal three different times last week. This week he should not need that. The Chargers face the Cincinnati Bengals. Kickers are averaging 11 FPPG against the Bengals.

Defense

Denver Broncos

The Broncos’ defense has been rolling in this three-game win streak. They could easily make it four games on Sunday against the 49ers. The Niners are giving up almost 4 sacks per game and allowing 10+ FPPG to opposing defenses.

Ride the above players with confidence in week 14 action. They should lead you to a playoff win.

SITS

QB

Jared Goff – Los Angeles Rams

This is a very bad week for Goff. The Chicago Bears are tough at Soldier Field. Their defense has only allowed an average of 15 FPPG when playing at home.

RB

Tevin Coleman – Atlanta Falcons

Coleman and the rest of the Falcons’ offense have disappeared over the past couple of weeks. Expect that to remain the same in week 14. The Green Bay Packers have only allowed three TDs all season to RBs at Lambeau Field.

WR

Tyler Boyd – Cincinnati Bengals

Boyd has been steady for the Bengals. However, this week is a tough game. The Bengals travel to Los Angeles to play the Chargers. That defense is only allowing an average of 9 FPPG to the slot.

TE

Kyle Rudolph – Minnesota Vikings

Rudolph has been a tough play all year long. Keep him on the bench this week against the Seattle Seahawks, especially since he has not had a TD since week 3.

K

Mason Crosby – Green Bay Packers

Crosby is lucky to be in the NFL. He has cost the Packers a couple of games this season, including last week against the Cardinals. Bench him against the Falcons, who are only allowing 4 FPPG to home kickers.

Defense

Minnesota Vikings

Sit the Vikings’ defense as they head up to the great Northwest and face the Seahawks. Russell Wilson and company are only allowing 4 FPPG to opposing defenses at Century Link Field.

If you have to play any of our sits, play them with caution. If you have depth at any of these positions, you may be better off with those considerations.
