Down Goes Another Linebacker

Injuries continue to pile up as the Buccaneers have suffered another loss at the linebacker position. The Buccaneers can’t catch a break.

This time it is Kevin Minter who is placed on Injury Reserve due to a calf injury. He suffered the injury during last week’s loss to the Saints. The injury will likely allow Riley Bullough to see more snaps.

Minter played in five games, recording eight tackles and one sack. The six-year veteran played four seasons for the Cardinals, in which he played in every game but three and started every game during his last two seasons there. While at Arizona he recorded 224 solo tackles, four passes defended, and one forced fumble.

Following his stint in Arizona in 2017, he played one season for the Bengals, where he started seven of the nine games that season.
