After putting up a rather impressive performance, especially on offense, the Bucs ultimate lost after a last second field goal by Falcon Matt Bryant. 34-32
Jameis Winston went 22/35 for 345 yards 4 TD / 1 INT for rating of 121.7. Peyton Barber finished with 66 yards of 15 carries on the ground.
In what was essentially a meaningless game, the Bucs for most of the game actually looked like a well oiled team on both sides of the ball. Leaving many to wonder, “where was this all season.” Though that answer probably lies more with the coaching staff than the players themselves, regardless it was too little, too late. And even after a good performance they still couldn’t put away a win.
With two 5-11 seasons under his belt, the empending future of Dirk Koetter is looming. An announcement could come anywhere between now and the emphamous “Black Monday” on his future. So stay tuned to BucsReport.com as this story develops.
