With the Tampa Bay Buccaneers missing out on some prime, and overpriced, free agent Safeties, they still could have a player in their sights. That player is Cardinal SS Deone Bucannon per a report by Greg Auman of the Athletic.
One free agent Bucs reached out on today: Cardinals LB Deone Bucannon, who played under Bruce Arians in Arizona 2014-17. He's 26, potential help at inside linebacker, has played safety, though Giants (with former Cards DC James Bettcher) are another familiar option for him.

As stated, Bucannon spent 2014-2017 under Bruce Arians , and played for DC Todd Bowles as a rookie. Through 5 seasons he has racked up 404 combined tackles, 12 PD, 7 FF, 5 FR, and 2 INT.
He could possibly play at Safety or Linebacker if he were to sign with Tampa Bay. With the need now at linebacker. This signing could bring relief to that unit.
In 2018, Bucannon received $8.71 million last season. Depending on the interest from other teams, the Bucs could get him signed at a team friendly rate.
