Verner, 30, was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in 2010 before he was signed away by Tampa Bay after signing a 4-year $25.5 million deal in 2014.
The veteran CB was to help aid a unit fill a void left by Darrelle Revis. Ultimately though, he never lived up to those expectations after 3 up and down years with the Bucs. Where he collected 140 combined tackles, 20 PD’s, 3 FF, and 4 INT’s.
In 2017, he was released by Tampa Bay and then signed a 1-year deal with Miami to finish out his career.
