Buccaneers 3-Round Mock Draft 4.0

This latest edition of our 3-round mock draft doesn’t feature the big name players but does address some very pressing needs for the Buccaneers.

This mock draft started off as expected with the Arizona Cardinals selecting QB Kyler Murray 1st overall. The San Francisco 49ers drafted DE Nick Bosa with the 2nd pick followed by the New York Jets selecting OT Jawaan Taylor 3rd overall. The Oakland Raiders chose to pass on QB Dwayne Haskins and selected DT Quinnen Williams.

1st round:
Devin White, LB, LSU
HT: 6’1 HT: 240lbs

– Second-team All-American (2017)
– 2× First-team All-SEC (2017, 2018)

Devin White has exceptional speed, is hard hitting and diagnoses the play rapidly. He will undoubtedly be a starter from day 1 and a permanent fixture in the Buccaneers defense.

2nd round:
Nasir Adderley, DB/S, Delaware
HT: 5’11”
WT: 200 pounds

Nasir Adderley in the 2nd round is great value. Nasir can play CB or Safety at a high level. Nasir is solid in coverage, he has the ability play in the box as well. Big hitter with a nose for the ball.

3rd round:
Beau Benzschawel, IOL, Wisconsin
HT: 6’6 WT: 315 lbs

– 2× First-team All-Big Ten (2017, 2018)
– Second-team All-Big Ten (2016)

Beau Benzschawel is known as road grader. Exceptional strength and leverage at the point of attack. Could push for starting reps at RG but at the very least adds great depth with his flexibility to play all the interior line positions.

This mock draft features two potential starters and a solid backup. With the current state of the Buccaneers depth chart these players will provide an instant impact.
