CBS Sports Senior NFL Columnist Pete Prisco is reporting that the Arizona Cardinals will not select QB Kyler Murray first overall.
"From what I've been told, they are going to go in a different direction. They are not going to draft Kyler Murray."

Draft week insider info or just another smoke screen?
I will lean toward it being actual inside info as the Cardinals putting out a rumor that they don’t want Murray in essence diminishes the value of their first overall pick.
So if the Cardinals in fact do not take Murray first overall how does this affect the Buccaneers? That depends on what happens with the 2nd through 4th picks obviously. With Jon Gruden and the Oakland Raiders sitting in the 4th spot, surely they would take Kyler Murray, right?
For the sake of argument let’s say they don’t select Murray. Now the Buccaneers 5th overall pick just got more valuable. This would be a perfect time for the Buccaneers to trade back and gain at least two extra draft picks. At the very least it will shake up the draft and allow a higher graded player to slip to the Buccaneers at the 5th position.
Stay tuned it’s only going to get more interesting from here on.
