Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians and his coaching staff have been focused on how to lower QB Jameis Winston’s interception totals.
Thread here: Bucs have had a consistent message this spring that one way to lower Jameis Winston's interceptions in 2019 is not to be playing from way behind all the time. "Hopefully … we won't be playing from 20 behind all the time," Bruce Arians said last week.

The common narrative that the Buccaneers are always playing from behind because of Winston’s interceptions is indeed false. That crushes some of you I know, but math is math.
Jameis Winston has 58 career INT’s. Just over 70% of them came when the team was trailing (41). With the league average for INT’s thrown when trailing being 58.6, Winston’s INT percentage being higher just shows you that the Buccaneers are playing from behind more often than most teams.
