Buccaneers HC Bruce Arians appears to be all in on TE OJ Howard.
Head Coach Bruce Arians talked about how effective TE @TheRealOjHoward is as a player. Says he can hold the point of attack while also being an obvious mismatch for safeties and linebackers.

The 6’6 250 lb 2017 first round draft pick has shown flashes of brilliance during his first two seasons in the NFL. Howard has posted solid numbers in averaging 30 catches, 500 yards and 5 TD’s over his first two seasons. Many, including myself see this year as a “Break-out” season for Howard. His pure size and athleticism is elite at this position in the league.
Bruce Arians and this new coaching staff seem to think Howard’s production on the field can be elevated to match his elite size and athleticism. Hearing Arians talk about how Howard can “hold the point of attack” and being an obvious mismatch against safeties and linebackers is great news for a Buccaneers offense that is looking like it is ready to be one of the best in the league.
