The Buccaneers announced today that four players will start training camp on the Active/PUP list.
– Safety Justin Evans
– Linebacker Jack Cichy
– Outside linebacker David Kenney
– Wide receiver Xavier Ubosi
Undrafted free-agent quarterback Nick Fitzgerald starts off training camp on the non-football injury list.
Once on the Active/PUP list or Active/NFI, a player can be activated from said lists at any point before the 53-man roster cutdown. They do count against the 90-man roster limit. Placing these players on these lists to start training camp gives the teams the option of placing them on the Reserve/PUP or NFI lists at the start of the regular season if necessary.
