NFL suspends another Buccaneer

The NFL has suspended Buccaneers practice squad player Terry Beckner Jr. (DL) for testing positive for performance enhancing drugs.

 

Beckner Jr. is suspended for 4 games. He is the third Buccaneer suspended this season for PEDs (Ryan Smith, Devante Bond). The Buccaneers drafted Beckner Jr. in the 7th round of the 2019 NFL draft.

STATEMENT BY AN NFL SPOKESPERSON:

Terry Beckner of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers has been suspended without pay for the next four games for violating the NFL policy on performance-enhancing substances.

The suspension begins immediately. Beckner will be eligible to return to the team on Monday, November 18, following the team’s Week 11 game vs. New Orleans.
