Week 11 Preview: Bucs vs. Saints

0

After beating the Arizona Cardinals, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers face a tough challenge at home against the New Orleans Saints. The Saints are coming off a highly surprising home loss against the Atlanta Falcons.

Key To Winning: Containing Michael Thomas

Michael Thomas has a history of having tremendously great games against the Bucs. With Carlton Davis out, it will be even more difficult to stop him.

His success, needless to say, is highly dependent on whether the Bucs find a way to create a pass rush. The Bucs defense needs to be on top of it’s game in order to limit the Saints’ high-powered offense.

Mike Evans Needs To Shine

With cornerback Marshon Lattimore out, Mike Evans will likely face Eli Apple for the majority of the game. Lattimore has a history of making life hard for Mike Evans, as he is one of the better cornerbacks in the league.

Consequently, Leftwich and the Bucs must find a way to exploit this favorable matchup with Apple being forced to cover Evans.

Conclusion: Bucs Win Second Game In A Row

The Bucs shut down Alvin Kamara completely. In addition to that, they find a way to get to Drew Brees.

Jameis Winston has yet another two turnovers, but scores three touchdowns as well, two of them are hauled in by Mike Evans.

Bucs win a high-scoring contest to upset New Orleans.

Finals score:

Bucs: 34

Saints: 31
