The Buccaneers traveled to Jacksonville and handed the Jaguars their 8th loss of the season Sunday. Jumping out to a 25 point lead at the half and holding on for a 28-11 victory!
A big reason the Buccaneers had a 25 point lead at the half was the play of their defense. The pressure on the Jaguars QB was relentless. A huge part of that relentlessness was the play of rookie linebacker Devin White. So much so you could call his play historic…
.@DevinWhite__40 is the first rookie in @Buccaneers history with an INT, fumble recovery and defensive TD in a single game.
He joins PIT Devin Bush (@_Dbush11) as the only rookies to do so this season.#TBvsJAX | #GoBucs

Devin White is the first Buccaneer rookie to have an INT, fumble recovery and TD in a single game. White played like the game was in slow motion. He seemed to be on on every play. Including this play, his first career interception!
But White wasn’t done, with an assist from Shaq Barrett, White scored his first TD as well.
Devin White has “turned the corner”, the game has slowed down for him. The results are exactly what you’d expect from a high first round draft pick!
