The Buccaneers rookie inside linebacker Devin White has won NFC Defensive Rookie of the Month for November.
White earned the award by posting some impressive stats. Over the 5 game span in November White had 46 tackles, 2.5 sacks, 3 tackles for loss, 5 quarterback hits, 1 interception, 2 passes defensed, 1 fumble recovery and a fumble returned for a touchdown.
Those numbers are impressive for any player let alone a rookie. White ranks 6th amongst all defenders and 1st amongst rookies with his 4 tackles in that time span. The early season rumblings of “bust” are now silenced by the rookie out of LSU.
