The Buccaneers defeated the Colts 38-35 in what can only be called a crazy game. Jameis Winston started the game throwing an interception, stop me if you’ve heard that before. Winston also ended it with a a TD pass to Breshad Perriman, with a fracture in his thumb on his throwing hand.
Bruce Arians said Jameis Winston has a small fracture in his thumb. He isn’t sure how it will affect his practices this week. He said it wasn’t impacting his throws today.

Jameis Winston threw for a career high 456 yards. Yes he threw 3 INTs, but he also threw 4 TDs and ran one in.
It’s safe to say we are all tired of the turnovers, there’s been so many. The crazy thing is the turnovers seem to calm Winston. They seem to wake him up to an extent, light his fire if you will. What none of us can say is is that Winston is a quitter. You can’t say he isnt a gamer, and after playing with a fractured bone in his thumb AND leading the team to a come behind win. You can’t say enough about him.
Details of Winston’s injury will be updated as they become available.
