With so many restrictions on NFL Clubs during this free agency period due to the COVID-19 virus, contract signings and free agent announcements are at a halt. With any signing, there’s a need for a physical, which is usually handled by each team’s medical team. This has been one of the holdups with the Tom Brady signing.
As reported in the tweet below by Jeff Darlington, the Buccaneers and Brady have agreed to receive a physical from a doctor in New York.
No concern over finding a doctor to perform Tom Brady’s physical. He’s able to make that happen today in New York. It would be ideal if it was the Bucs’ team doctors — but these are unprecedented times and everyone is on the same page. Everything is moving along just fine.

The physical will be completed today as mentioned above. This points to the Brady signing to be going along as scheduled. I’d expect some sort of news on this within the next day or so after Tampa receives the results of the physical. Barring any unforeseen issues, Brady will be a Buccaneer.
