Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sign Offensive Tackle Joe Haeg

Not long after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers made the signing of Tom Brady official, Mike Garafolo reported that Tampa Bag has signed offensive tackle Joe Haeg to a one year deal worth $2.3 million with the chance to make $3.3 million.

The Buccaneers are already adding extra protection for their newly signed quarterback with the addition of Haeg. Haeg is a former fifth round pick selected by the Indianapolis Colts in 2016. He appeared in 55 games for the Colts since then. Haeg did not start for the Colts all of 2019 and saw only 7% of the offensive snaps last season.

This signing will add some much needed depth to the Buccaneers’ offensive line in 2020 with Demar Dotson’s departure into free agency.
