Just when you thought the Buccaneers offseason couldn’t get any crazier, here comes another doozy. After signing arguably the greatest quarterback to play the game and trading for one of the greatest tight ends to suit up the Buccaneers may not be done!
A few things on the #Eagles’ interest in free agent RBs, per sources: They offered contracts to Carlos Hyde, who signed with the Seahawks, and Devonta Freeman, who is weighing other offers (Bucs).
They have interest in bringing back LeSean McCoy, but have yet to make an offer.

As McLane reports, the Buccaneers have made an offer to free agent running back Devonta Freeman. The Buccaneers have had a difficult time running the football for quite awhile. While this rumor sounds good there are a few questions that need to be answered. How will they create cap space for this move? Would Freeman be the starter or featured back? Lots of moving parts, but still very doable.
*UPDATE 1:00pm*
Per Greg Auman of The Athletic the Buccaneers have not made on offer to Devonta Freeman.
Just to put out a fire: Bucs have not made any contract offer to free-agent running back Devonta Freeman, as has been reported.
