From The Cheap Seats: No Fans At Saints Opener

Oh when those Saints DON’T come marching in…to the home opener it can only be an advantage to the Buccaneers. That’s right, there will be no fans at the New Orleans home opener vs the Bucs.

The Mercedes Benz Superdome is usually a foreboding and raucous environment for a visiting team, but all of that will change in this years season opener. COVID-19 has evened the playing field by removing most of the home-field advantage for the Saints.

Imagine the faint resonance of a saxophone from Bourbon St. bouncing around the aluminum echo chamber while the Saints charge onto the field to the delight of…absolutely no one. Soon, you won’t have to leave that to your imagination.

It was officially announced yesterday that there will be no fans at the Saints home opener. Tom Brady will, however, be present and motivated. Advantage, Bucs. At least that’s how it appears From the in the Cheap Seats.
