A new rule has been established for the 2020 NFL season. Each NFL team can protect four practice squad players each week, resetting the day after each game. According to Greg Auman of The Athletic, the normal weekly pay rate of $8,000 for rookies and $12,000 for veterans will still be in effect. The Buccaneers have chosen the following players.
The four protected members of the Bucs’ practice squad this week are QB Josh Rosen, K Greg Joseph, CB Mazzi Wilkins and WR Cyril Grayson. They can’t sign elsewhere until Monday now.

As reported by Auman, this week’s Buccaneers who will be protected are quarterback Josh Rosen, kicker Greg Joseph, cornerback Mazzi Wilkins, and wide receiver Cyril Grayson. As the rule goes, another team can not sign these players during their protected period.
Each week we will update you on who will be added to the protected player list so stay tuned to Bucs Report for updates.
