I’ll just cut to the chase. Browns wallop the Buccaneers 31-7 and 24 of those points were on the starting defense.
After a three and out by Jameis Winston and the starting Buc offense, Travis Benjamin received the punt and took it unscathed for a touchdown. And that was the beginning of the end for the Buccaneers Saturday night. Jameis Winston was sacked 4 times and finished three quarters of football 6 of 15 for 90 yards 1 INT and no TD’s. He only had 5 yards rushing this evening. Doug Martin had our only score this evening on a 19 yard run, he finished 9 carries for 40 yards. Josh McCown played like he had something to prove. He completed 17 passes out of 23 for 117 yards 2 TD’s and 0 INT’s, he also scrambled for 20 yards on 3 carries two of them for first downs. On the bright side, Kwon Alexander had another fantastic night! That young man is a defensive machine!
