Will the Redskins walk the plank and the Buccaneers siege the day?

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, successfully end the at-home-losing-streak, by defeating the Jacksonville Jaguars.

As close as the game was thrilling, it showed that the run game has stepped up and Jameis Winston is maturing. Both Jameis Winston and the Dougernaut ensured the win by putting together very strong(or should I say scrong) performances. Jameis Winston won Rookie of The Week for his performance scoring a 122.5 QB rating and throwing 0 INTS. Doug Martin also won an award for his performance running for 123 yards on 24 carries and two touchdowns. The Dougernator also pulled in 35 receiving yards on 3 passes and one for a touchdown. Charles Sims also helped seal the fate of the Jacksonville Jaguars by rushing for 51 yards and hauling in 85 yards in 4 receptions; Making Charles Sims a dual threat and when in combination with Doug Martin, creating a deadly offensive blitzkrieg.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are now coming off the bye week with more wins on their mind.

Now being even more pressured to continue their win streak, they face a beat down Washington Redskin team. The Buccaneers new found confidence will be featured in the run game, which the Washington Redskins have been unable to find a way to stop this season. I expect the Buccanneers to run Doug Martin down the throats of the Redskins defense and continuing his 100 yards per game streak.

The Washington Redskins are coming off a horrific 34-20 loss last Sunday, to the New York Jets.

The Redskins are in the midst of a losing streak as they had lost their last two games and only won one in their last four. The Redskins, with a sour taste in their mouths, will try to bounce back against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who’s passing defense is ranked 4th in the NFL and 5th in total yards allowed  per game. Kirk Cousins, who had a horrible outing last Sunday, threw two costly interceptions that paved the way to the Jets 17 unanswered points. The Redskins plagued by injuries are playing like wounded warriors who put a good fight at the beginning of the match but inevitably run out of steam in the long run.

Redskins are 2-4 and will have to win this game to boost team morale before the bye week and returning to face the New England Patriots, in Foxborough.

For any chance of that, Kirk Cousin would have to play consistently and limit his turnovers. The Redskins ground game which produced a meager 34 yards last Sunday would have to step up against The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who is ranked 25th against the run. An already reinvigorated Tampa Bay Buccaneers will have to capitalize on the run game early and protect Jameis Winston. The Redskins defense as been bleak at best  and the Buccaneers will have to attack them fast and early to keep them off balance.

If the Buccaneers protect Jameis Winston, capitalize on the run and keep the penalties to a minimum, the Buccaneers  should easily walk away with another much-needed win.
