The Jets put away the Giants in OT and push their playoff hopes even further away. In what was a very close game and a must win for the Giants, they just could not find a way to finish the game with a win.

For the fourth time this season, the Giants gave away a double-digit fourth-quarter lead and lost the game Sunday afternoon. Their latest failure to finish left the door open for the Jets, who forced overtime with a touchdown catch by Brandon Marshall before beating the Giants for the first time since 1996 on Randy Bullock’s 31-yard field goal with a 23-20 victory in front of a crowd of 80,898 at MetLife Stadium. Josh Brown’s 48-yard field goal that would have tied the game in overtime drifted wide left.” – Reported by Art Stapleton
