“Former Florida State linebacker Derrick Brooks will become a member of the College Football Hall of Fame, ESPN reported Thursday. An official announcement on the Hall’s next class of inductees is scheduled for today. Brooks, 42, is in the Pro Football Hall of Fame for his 14-year career with the Bucs. His No. 10 jersey is retired at FSU after a career that included two consensus All-America seasons, a national championship and the 1994 ACC player of the year award.” – Reported by Matt Baker
