Disney’s plans to build Chargers’ new stadium fell through

Disney can’t own everything, can they? They are sure trying, but the chance for them to build and own a stake in the NFL fell through when the NFL voted to allow the Rams to move back to California. The alternative would be for the Disney corporation to build a new Stadium for the San Deigo Chargers and/or the Raiders in Carson, and stamp their name on the NFL. I’m sure a stadium built by Disney would be amazing.

“Walt Disney Co. Chairman and Chief Executive Robert Iger has had a string of hits lately, including clinching the all-time domestic box-office crown with “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” Last week, however, he was dealt a rare setback – NFL owners voted to allow the Rams franchise to move to Inglewood, rejecting a rival plan backed by Iger to build a stadium for the San Diego Chargers and Oakland Raiders in Carson.” -Reported by Daniel Miller
