Vincent Jackson is a Finalist for the Salute to Service Award

Vincent Jackson is known, for his work helping to raise money for families in need and is well respected for such causes. He also set up his Jackson in Action foundation to foster the relationship between deployed troops, and their families back at home. So, it is only natural that he should be a finalist for this honor.

“The NFL and USAA, the league’s Official Military Appreciation Sponsor, announced on Thursday that Bucs wide receiver Vincent Jackson and Colts punter Pat McAfee are the two finalists for the fifth annual Salute to Service Award presented by USAA. A three-time Pro Bowler and self-proclaimed “military brat,” Jackson launched the Jackson In Action 83 Foundation on Veterans Day in 2012 to support military families by focusing on the educational, emotional and physical health of military children.” – Reported by Roy Cummings
