Should the Bucs go after Alex Mack?

The three-time Pro Bowler is being reported to opt-out of his current contract with the Cleveland Browns. A base salary of $8 million makes him the second-highest-paid center in the league just behind Dolphins center Mike Pouncey. Mack is ranked as the league’s 13th best center. Current Buccaneers center Joe Hawley, finished just 28th last season.

Alex Mack would be an instant upgrade in protecting quarterback Jameis Winston and help solidify the offensive line in passing and running. With Marpet, and D.Smith coming in and playing outstanding their rookie seasons, Alex Mack would be more than a solid vet he would be the anchor that holds the line in place.
