According to Joel Glazer, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are finally getting an indoor practice facility. The Buccaneers have never had one, and with the crazy weather we’ve had during the training months, this move will go a long way towards stopping the cancellation of practices due to rain, and other forms of dangerous weather.
However, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will have to suffer through another April-August, as they will have to again face the possibility of torrential rains and lightning that could further hinder their chances of a complete camp.
“It’s part of all our renovations with the stadium, part of the whole construction project, lumped in there. It’s on course to happen and there’s no question it’s happening in the next 12-to-18 months. It will not be done in time for training camp this summer. It is absolutely needed. It will give us an alternative for getting out of the rain and getting out of the heat. It’s a priority.”
