A former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver has been arrested on drug and gun charges.
The former wide receiver Preston Parker was stopped by police after he failed to stop at a stop sign, and police noticed that his vehicle was swerving between the pavement and the grass while heading north on I 95. Police stated that they found cocaine and marijuana inside of the vehicle. They also found a loaded handgun under the driver’s seat.
The string of charges includes felony cocaine possession, displaying or using a weapon in the commission of a felony, and destruction of evidence. His bond is currently set at $15,000.
Parker Lives in Del Ray Beach and is being held at the Palm Beach County jail. This is not his first run-in with the law, he was arrested several times prior to this incident, but those charges were dismissed by the State of Florida.
