Rams looking to trade Nick Foles

Rams QB Nick Foles will not be on the team for training camp, and will not be on the team at the start of the season. Rams will likely draft a QB that will compete for the starting role against backups Case Keenum and Sean Mannion. Even with a few teams still in need of a QB, Foles contract makes him less appealing to any team considering a trade. If the Rams release Foles, they would take a cap hit of $8 million, but if the Rams can find a trade arrangement, they would net close to $7 million in cap space. Nick Foles was traded to the Rams by the Eagles for Sam Bradford. The Rams signed Foles to a two-year $24 million contract last August. With Foles comparably putting would-be suitors in a similar predicament as Colin Kaepernick, it should turn the spotlight back towards Mike Glennon.
