Tom Brady and the Patriots will not allow Deflategate to end

The NFL and pretty much everyone who follows it wishes the Deflategate saga to finally be over. The NFL’s legal team expressed these wishes with a court filing, today. NFL lawyers wrote that there is no need fo the a 14-day extension that was sought after by the New Englands Patriots, the NFLPA, and Tom Brady. One of the NFL’s lead councilors cited that “The first pre-season game is just over three months away and time remains of the essence.”

After a three-judge panel agreed that Commissioner Roger Goodell was within his authority to suspend Brady for four games, Brady, and the NFLPA requested a two-week extension, which would double the time to file a request for another rehearing.
