FS Harrison Smith just received a HUGE contract extension from the Minnesota Vikings. The five-year $51.25 million deal includes a $10.8 million signing bonus and $15.278 million fully guaranteed. Smith recorded four defensive touchdowns, recovered two fumbles, and had 12 interceptions in 53 career games. Smith’s contract makes him the highest-paid safety in the NFL.
