Former Buc’s cornerback gets signed on in Carolina.

Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback, Leonard Johnson has been signed by the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers made the announcement, on Thursday, that they have signed Johnson to a one-year deal.

Johnson played for Tampa from 2012 to 2014, where he played in every game recording 148 tackles, 5 interceptions and forced 6 fumbles before being released in 2015 and signing with the New England Patriots. Johnson should strongly compete for the nickel corner position.
