The Deflate-gate saga has officially come to an end. The close to two-year long soap opera between Tom Brady and the National Football League has come to a halt as Brady has finally accepted his fate. He will never admit that he was in error or whether or not he had done anything he was accused of, but at least it’s over.
Brady is allowed to participate in this year’s training camp. However, he is not eligible to play until October 9th vs the Browns. Garoppolo is a capable backup quarterback, and although he is no Tom Brady I do not think that Brady’s absence will make that big of a difference. But the speculations and accusations will if the Patriots lose any of those first four games possibly spark a new ‘gate saga.
