Louis Murphy should be ready for training camp. Murphy, who missed ten games last season with an ACL tear, will be back and ready to stake his claim to the third receiver spot. Although that claim will not come easy, Murphy has a leg up on the competition, and that’s veteran experience to go along with his talents. He will battle against a smorgasbord of talent and among that talent, is the speed. Speed is a high selling point in Koetter’s offense, and the inside route is no exception. But the ability to run those routes and make plays will likely, be the deciding factor, leaving the position wide open for anyone to grab. I just think it likely has Murphy’s name on it.
