Robert Aguayo, who had been highly debated over, ever since Tampa moved up in the second round of the 2016 draft to select him, is considered the most accurate kicker in college football history. However, his long-anticipated debut did not go as planned. The Buccaneers scored a touchdown, and the Bucs highly talked about rookie kicker missed the extra point. Now, all of Aguayo’s critics are thumbing their noses at Tampa, with emphasis reminding Bucs fans of the Kyle Brindza debacle. Aguayo, the most accurate kicker in College history, had just missed his first extra point attempt. I wouldn’t go jumping the gun just yet. It was only the first game of the preseason not everyone is going to play like veterans.
With the first game down and put away in the books to fade away with the sands of time, we can now look forward to the next game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, where I can almost be 100% sure that we will see a much different Tampa Bay Buccaneers football team.
