As the season is upon our optimism is high for all 32 teams. This optimism will be crushed for some quickly while others will see positive results on the field. If the Bucs are to turn the corner and see playoff football return to Tampa they will need to have Mike Evans and Kwon Alexander lead the charge.
Mike Evans, the talented receiver in his third-year needs to improve on holding onto the ball and containing his emotions. Last year Evans had 74 catches for 1,206 yards, that is a 16.3 yard per catch average. If Evans could have caught some of the 11 drops from last year these numbers could have been higher. Evans also has a tendency to get too emotional at times costing his team yards at inopportune times. Evans was ejected against Carolina in the final game of the season last year.
