Sashi Brown, Cleveland’s VP of football operations, says he and the Browns support Gordon’s decision that Gordon’s health should be his primary focus. Deciding not to comment on Gordon’s position with the Browns, Brown also made the comment that the Browns want nothing more than for Gordon to be successful in his personal and professional life.
Gordon missed the entire 2015 season with multiple drug policy violations. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell had reinstated Gordon back in July, however, a failed drug test in March of this year, kept Gordon suspended for the first four games of the regular season.
Gordon, who was selected in the 2012 NFL Supplementary draft, led all NFL receivers in 2013 with 1,646 yards.
