Siege The Day Tampa Bay!

0

Before I begin I must say, “IT’S ABOUT DAMN TIME!” I guarantee that three weeks ago if I would have said we would go into Kansas City and upset the Chiefs then come home to Tampa to upset the Seahawks, you would all laugh and call me crazy. Well, who’s laughing now? Now, this is a time be feel good and to be proud, but the season is far from over. We have to keep the pedal to the metal.

It is the first time, since 2012, that we have been over a .500 record beyond week 11, starting out 6-4. We ended that season 7-9. We cannot get too ahead of ourselves and we cannot end up like we did in 2012. I refuse. We are finally playing smash mouth football and we are finally playing with some aggression and a will to win. That is something I haven’t seen in a very long time. It feels so damn good.

Forget, “Just win baby.” At this point, “We must win baby.” We showed we can compete with the best and from this point on the remaining schedule is favorable to us. Even though we have three out of our last five away from Tampa, let’s not forget that our Bucs have been road warriors this season, putting up a staggering 4-1 record away from home.

To close out I just want to say this, when was the last time any of you felt this good, at this point of the season, in recent years? It’s been too long. But I’ll tell you what, if the Bucs keep playing the way they have been, then the rest of the league better watch out Because the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are on the rise and you better believe we are going to SIEGE THE DAY!!
